October Highlights

Each Sunday in October we will meet for Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30 a.m. and evening worship at 7:00 p.m.

Each Wednesday in October we will meet for Renewal, junior choir and youth fellowship at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Each Wednesday in October we will meet for Christmas choir practice at 6:15 p.m. unless      otherwise stated.

Each Thursday in October we will meet for Christmas play practice at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Tuesdays and Thursdays the  Walking in Faith group will meet in the large fellowship at 9:30 a.m. for devotions and some exercise.

--Sunday, Oct. 5th: We will celebrate World Wide Communion during morning worship.  Caring Community Church of God’s worship team will be sharing with us at 7:00 p.m.

--Saturday, Oct. 11th: We will hold our annual Craft and Vendor’s Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the large fellowship hall.  The kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch and we will have baked goods for sale all day.

--Sunday, Oct. 12: There will be a child dedication service during morning worship at 10:30 a.m.  That evening Mr. Dan Christ will be sharing his wildlife art and testimony with us at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

--Tuesday, Oct. 14th: There will be a church council meeting in the conference room at 7:00 p.m.

--Wednesday, Oct. 15th: We will have a clean up night here at the church from 7-8 pm.  Christmas choir will meet at 6:15 p.m. and senior choir will meet at 8:00 p.m.

--Sunday, Oct. 19th: Mission Sunday with the offering going to Helping Hands mission.  The junior choir is scheduled to sing during morning worship and the puppets will be visiting us as well.  Ms. Susie Andrews will be sharing with us at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

--Monday, Oct. 20th: We will be our last “Have Grill “ night of the year beginning at 4:00 p.m. and selling until sold out.

--Wednesday, Oct. 22nd: We will have our annual “Safe Trick-or-Treat” night here at the church in the large fellowship hall from 7-8 p.m.  Please bring a snack to share and a treat to pass out.   Senior choir will meet at 8:00 p.m.

--Sunday, Oct. 26th: There will be no evening service.

--Wednesday, Oct. 29th: There will be no midweek services or choir practices.

--Thursday, Oct. 30th: Trick-or-treat night for West Hanover township From 6-8 p.m.
