Youth fellowship will return to the Mt. Laurel Church of God on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. Our youth fellowship is open to all youth 7th grade and older. They meet each week for Bible lessons and activity times. They have some activity times that are away from the church and additional adult drivers might be needed. If you can help, talk with the youth leaders.
Our youth leaders are: Rod and Michelle Underkoffler; John Beshore and LeeAnn Wolfe.
Additional adult help is appreciated. If you would like to teach a lesson or help once a month with youth fellowship, talk with Michelle, Rod or John.
A planning meeting for youth fellowship will be on August 27th at 7 p.m.
What is Junior Church and Junior Choir?
Junior Choir - "Sing for the Lord"
Our junior choir ministry is form children who like to sing praises to Jesus. The junior choir is for children ages four years old through 6th grade. They meet each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. The leaders for junior choir are: Trudy Gutshall, Lisa Suhr and Sharon Drawbaugh. The junior choir sings once a month throughout the school year. Also they make a few visits to local nursing homes throughout the year.
Junior Church
Junior Church is a program held Sundays September through May for children ages 5 through 3rd grade. Junior church meets during Sunday morning worship service from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Junior church begins Sunday, September 9th. For more information contact Sharon Swank (599-5930).
Nursery, Preschool, and Junior Church Ministries
During the morning worship service we have an infant nursery that is available for infants through 2 years old. If you would like to help in the nursery, please contact Lisa Bailey at 469-2576.
During the morning worship service we have a preschool nursery for toddlers that are ages 3 and 4 years old. If you would like to help please contact Stephanie McClune at 599-7819. Other preschool leaders include Jen Bowers, Gayla Hughes and Maryanne Houck.
During the morning worship service we have a junior church ministry for children ages 5 years old through 3rd grade. If you would like to help in this area of ministry, contact Sharon Swank at 599-5930. Other junior church leaders are Linda Snow and Karen Martin.
Older children are to be in worship for their religious training. Their public school classes are forty minutes or longer so it is possible for them to sit through a twenty minute sermon. Worksheets are available in the narthex if they are needed.
